Overall, the staff rated this standard at 3.78 (.23 lower than the network average of 4.1) Students rated this standard at 3.66 (.15 higher than the network average). Survey data related to this standard indicate over 60% agreement/strong agreement in the following areas:
* Use of multiple assessment measures to determine student learning and school performance (63%) (Indicator 5.1)
* Use of consistent assessment measures across classrooms and courses (64%) (Indicator 5.1)
* Having a systematic process for collecting, analyzing, and using data (63%) (Indicator 5.3)
* Use of data to monitor student readiness and success at the next level (68%) (Indicator 5.4)
* Leaders' monitoring of data related to student achievement and school continuous improvement goals(72%) (Indicator 5.5)
On the relatively weak side, one of the lowest scoring indicators (3.64 for Indicator 5.3) shows that 60% of staff agree that "our school ensures all staff members are trained in the evaluation, interpretation, and use of data." From the student perspective, only 52% agree that "my school shares information about school success with my family and community members."4
